Action cast give Harbour City lighting ceremony a festive boost
Christmas is still two months away but festive plugs to boost sales are kicking in early.
On Tuesday, Tsim Sha Tsui's Harbour City mall unveiled its holiday attraction - a merry-go-round with more than 60 wooden horses, reindeers and rabbits. The ride is covered in candy-coloured red and white lights and festive-themed characters will be around to pose for photos with shoppers.
To add star power to the lighting ceremony, the cast and filmmakers behind the action flick The Guillotines made an appearance to meet screaming fans.
The film, set in the Qing dynasty (1644-1911), revolves around an elite brigade of secret assassins reporting directly to the emperor.
Actors Shawn Yue Man-lok, Boran Jing, Li Yuchun and Huang Xiaoming joined in for the celebration.
The Ocean Terminal forecourt was packed with shoppers trying to get a snapshot of the good-looking cast and decorations. The Guillotines is set for a December 27 release in Hong Kong.
