Kary Ng helps relaunch Adidas Tsim Sha Tsui store

Adidas' 18,000 sq ft flagship Tsim Sha Tsui store has reopened after a facelift, in time for the festive shopping season.

The sportswear brand celebrated the sixth anniversary of the branch this year, and the reopening on Tuesday attracted not just celebrity fans but also plenty of passing shoppers.

Three sportily dressed dancing lions added some animal fun to the celebrations. Canto-pop idols Pakho Chau Pak-ho and Kary Ng Yu-fei officiated at the ceremony and were joined by top local athletes, including footballer Lo Kwan-yee, marathon winner Gi Ka-man, and basketball players Lau Chi-kin and Fong Shing-yee.

The store's new interior includes chairs designed by singer-actress Fiona Sit Hoi-kei, landscape architect Dorothy Tang, design consultant Paul Lung and Graphic Airlines.

With the annual year-end Canto-pop music awards soon to be announced, Ng said she wasn't thinking too much about whether she would be a winner because she was focusing on a concert she had planned for next year at the Coliseum.
