Canto-pop singer Kary Ng Yu-fei's two concerts at the Coliseum this week could have been a fashion parade.
The production team splashed out more than HK$1 million on her nine stage costumes.
Her glamorous, eye-catching attire included a rhinestone-encrusted bustier, a crystal-studded playsuit and a floor-length gown with see-through lace at the back.
For the concerts, on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Ng invited her celebrity friends to join her on the stage.
The star-studded line-up included singers Gigi Leung Wing-kei, Justin Lo, and Eman Lam Yee-man and Ellen Loo Hoi-tung of the now defunct girl band At 17.
The highlight of the night was the screening of a short home video of Ng taken when she was about three years old. Even at that age, she was already singing and dancing like a professional.
"I was planning to save this video for my wedding day, but my producer joked that I might have to wait quite a while," she said. "So I decided to share it with my fans."
