Hip restaurant Chez Patrick Deli on Wan Chai's Star Street was abuzz with socialites and fashion editors for the launch of New York-based designer Phillip Lim's spring-summer collection.

Models prowled down the runway in T-shirts bearing slogans, fuchsia biker jackets and silk sheer dresses. Celebrity model Rock Ji Huanbo flew in from the mainland to help showcase Lim's men's collection.

Apart from the fashion presentation, last Thursday's event also celebrated the opening of Lim's first pop-up store in Asia, on nearby Wing Fung Street.

Socialites including Victoria Tang, Charlotte and Ingrid Chen, Olivia Buckingham, Elly Lam and Harris Chan happily checked out the merchandise.

The two-storey, 800 sq ft pop-up store will be open for the next 10 months.
