Kathy Chow, Julien Lepeu celebrate wedding with 1920s-themed party
It was bound to be a night of glamour when supermodel Kathy Chow Man-kei and her French jeweller husband Julien Lepeu threw a party to celebrate their marriage.
The pair tied the knot in the French alpine town of Grasse in September with three days of partying. On Saturday they hosted another banquet, at the China Club in Central, for friends and relatives who could not attend the celebrations in France.
Many of the couple's celebrity friends turned up, following the 1920s dress code. Actress Carina Lau Ka-ling wore a blue sequined flapper dress, paired with a long pearl necklace and chandelier earrings, while model Qiqi Yam opted for a velvet jacket beaded with pearls.
The guest list also included singer Vivian Chow Wai-man, actress Rosamund Kwan Chi-lam and retired television actress Gigi Lai Chi.
The bride wore her strapless wedding gown to greet guests, then changed into a flirty floor-length number made by her designer friend Barney Cheng.
The lucky girl who caught the bride's bouquet was model Ana Rivera. She started dating her new boyfriend, Brad, just a few months ago. A good sign, maybe.
