The way to a Valentine's heart is through St Betty's chocolate cherry mousse …

In Hong Kong, lovers tend to celebrate Valentine's Day by eating. In response, restaurants across town roll out special romantic set meals for two. These range from boozy brunches to over-the-top love fests - think pink candles and heart-shaped slabs of foie gras.

This year one of the city's coolest restaurants is getting in on the action. St Betty in Central is offering up a set dinner for HK$788 per person.

In true St Betty fashion, don't expect pink lace and cloying sentimentality, but that doesn't mean your date will have any trouble knowing that it's a special occasion. Not every date night involves lobster carpaccio with black truffle wagyu beef cheek or dark chocolate mousse with cherries.

Whoever you take along is sure to feel loved; Michelin-starred chef Shane Osborn will make sure of that.
