Covet: Urban Traveller

Summer is all about exploring new places, which is why designers caught the travel bug this season. The catwalks were awash with multicultural references, including a tribute to the exotic East in Prada's inspired florals and Etro and Pucci's kimono shapes.

Mary Katrantzou even decorated dresses with stamps from exotic locations. There was also an abundance of tribal prints, which reflects another trend - geometry.

Dolce & Gabbana paid tribute to the beaches of Sicily with straw bustiers and fun jewellery. At Bottega Veneta (above), Tomas Maier sent out dresses with fringed skirts for a look that is part chic, part luxe traveller.
