Six Hong Kong-based style blogs have joined forces to form an online fashion collective, Brew & Post, hoping to make a lucrative business out of what started as a hobby.

"We aim to generate income from branding collaborations with products and our blog brand, content creation from these collaborations and the syndication of our content globally," explains J.J. Acuna, of theWanderlister+ Asia. "We are flexible enough to figure out different ways to create a sustainable ecosystem for lifestyle blogging."

Local blogs Fashion Hedonism, Superwowomg, How I Met Your Style, theWanderlister+ Asia and Ztylistas are all presented via the online platform, supported with photographs and links to their respective personal blogs, Twitter accounts and Instagram pages.

Acuna sums it up as "a digital content company owned equally by six blogs, who are the authors of each channel".

Officially launched on August 24, it is kept current with daily updates on trends and all manner of style-related news.

Acuna says the idea came to them because of an enormous interest from fashion and style brands to collaborate with them.

The bloggers collaborate with and promote brands, from an "individual tastemaker's perspective".

Each is equipped with their own set of skills and talents, and by pulling together they are also able to help each other improve their individual blogs. The young talents share big ideas for the future.

"We aim to reach the widest target market possible in Asia and globally. Additionally, we seek to work with affiliates to provide content for their respective outlets online, on smartphones and even print syndication," says Acuna.

"Brew & Post is open to different possibilities. As long as we keep writing and creating the content we want to write, it probably means we're on the right track."
