Justin Bieber gets Hong Kong jumping at private Calvin Klein concert
Model Kendall Jenner also appeared at the event at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal

Justin Bieber made a flying visit to Hong Kong on Thursday, jetting in for an invite-only concert at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. The Canadian pop phenomenon was set to make a surprise appearance, but judging by the scores of fans outside the event, diligently waiting and hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol in the heat and humidity, the secret got out long before he landed in the city.

The event was put on by Calvin Klein Jeans as part of its #mycalvins global campaign and Bieber, 21, who caused a stir earlier in the year with his CK underwear campaign, was joined on the red carpet by supermodel, reality television star and fellow CK ambassador Kendall Jenner. Korean-American singer Jay Park opened the event as guests filed into the cavernous venue that had Hong Kong harbour as a backdrop.

On his second visit to the city, Bieber played a short, high energy set that momentarily came to a halt after the second song when he revealed to the crowd that he had torn his trousers. After teasing the audience with the suggestion he take off his pants to reveal his brand-appropriate underwear, the singer disappeared for almost 10 minutes, returning in a new outfit and what should have been a truncated set. Instead, a shirtless Bieber played three songs in an encore that included the new remix single Where Are U Now, produced by Skrillex and Diplo, ending, to the crowd’s delight, with his most widely recognised hit Baby.
