Established in 1976, French children's brand Jacadi opened its first international store in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1983. Two years later, it broke into the American market with its Los Angeles shop. In 1993, Jacadi entered the Asian market with its shop in Taiwan.

"The opening of two new stores in London and a first store in Krakow, Poland, are in the pipeline and we plan to develop the brand in other countries as well," says Anne Corrons of Jacadi.

Jacadi has also branched out into different collections over the years. In 1985, it launched a shoe collection for babies and children, while a nursery range followed two years later. Last year, it launched Mademoiselle Jacadi, a collection for girls aged 10 to 14.

Clothing children from six months to 36 months old, the Toddler Winter 2012 collection offers items such as rear-button plackets, cashmere sweaters, flannel dresses and wool coats.

For girls aged 10 to 14, the Mademoiselle Jacadi Winter 2012 collection features wardrobe staples, such as fitted jackets and details such as Swarovski crystals and bows.

Besides clothing and accessories, Jacadi also has a fragrance collection. Joining forces with French perfumer Berdoues, the fragrances symbolise a moment in a child's life. Toute Petite Jacadi (for girls) and Tout Petit Jacadi (for boys), which contain alcohol-free floral notes, are designed for children up to two years old. Eau de Toilette Jacadi Fille (for girls) and Jacadi Garçon (for boys) cater to three to seven years. Scented with citrus fruit and vanilla, Eau de Toilette Mademoiselle Jacadi is geared towards girls aged seven and above.

The French brand also has a home collection that helps soon-to-be parents gear up for their baby's arrival. The collection features home items for babies such as European-made furniture, sleeping bags, bath towels, travel bags and toys such as music boxes and activity mats.
