LAT56° Tablet Traveller
For those in and out of airports, trains and taxis there are few better options than the LAT56° Tablet Traveller (HK$1,200). It weighs just 520 grams. Inside is a divider creating a double-padded, popper-closed compartment for an iPad, Kindle or a 10.6-inch netbook, a pen holder, magnet-closed pouch that takes an iPhone, and two business card-sized zipped pockets. The front bulges slightly for a roomy zipped pocket inside.

Knomo London Kyoto
This is a stylish cross-body bag from London-based brand Knomo. Fashioned from leather, the zip-fastened Kyoto (HK$1,600) iPad bag goes beyond its brief: Apple's device fits snugly into a padded interior wall pocket, but in practice an 11-inch netbook can be housed just as well. There's a zip pocket on the body-side of the exterior for a magazine or Kindle. City slickers will love its soft, comfortable cross-body strap and brushed-nickel hardware. It weighs a mere 1.1kg.

be.ez LE rush En Ville
An affordable and light, 182 gram option that seems primed for the school run or around campus, the LE rush En Ville (HK$500) iPad tote comes in a choice of dark brown, lime or teal. Made of nylon and designed in France by be.ez, it stores an iPad in a padded inner compartment. It has a zipped pocket for storing keys, cards and cash. It also has a snap-button pocket, key ring loop with lid, and a front pocket fastened with Velcro.
