Hello, sailor! For the past few seasons stripes have become a recurring theme in runway collections. As with most fashion trends, the look can be traced back to the French, who have been sporting striped Breton tops since they were young. Spring-summer 2013 is no exception as stripes move away from simple tops to head-to-toe matchy looks like trouser suits. Instead of classic blue and black, shimmering metallics or bold shades like red are in the mix.
