Wasabi Warriors, Central - fast Japanese food

The marinated Peking duck and shallots rice roll (HK$32) ... was a good variation on the traditional Chinese dish

Tsukemen Mitaseimenjo, Causeway Bay - ramen

The thick strands of cold noodles had a pleasant, bouncy bite, even after we dipped them in the hot soup.

Cat's Eye Bistro, Wan Chai - Japanese comfort food

The sweet onion and minced pork curry is made with 35 spices, honey and lots of onion

Sama, Central - Japanese soup curry pleasantly complex

The heat level (zero to 30) is ... indicated by three badges — baby bear, adult bear and crazy bear.
