Newly opened Little Creatures, Kennedy Town – house-brewed beer and bites
Newest addition to waterfront Kennedy Town Praya’s line of posh drinking and dining spots offers a full menu of burgers, steak, clams and beer from its own brewery. The service needs tweaking, however

Kennedy Town continues to gentrify at a fast clip, with Little Creatures being the latest addition to the dining scene. Located by the water and handily next to the fire station is the neighbourhood restaurant which has its brewery on the premises.
The name refers to the yeast that’s used to make the beer, and the craft breweryhas a “beer school” to encourage newbies to learn more about the process.

Staff here need more training on dealing with inquiries and clearing plates, but on the whole are very friendly. Our dishes came in rapid-fire succession – it would be nice if they were paced a bit slower.
Our dinner started with the grilled halloumi (HK$100) salad, two large slices of cheese on a bed of cherry tomatoes and lettuce with a light pomegranate molasses dressing.

For a hearty option, look no further than the 6oz Angus burger (HK$145), which we requested be sliced in half. In addition to the meat and bun, there was smoked cheddar, bacon, and barbecue sauce, all of which held together nicely between bites. The patty was thick and cooked medium rare.
