Jamie's Italian in Hong Kong is offering a scrumptious take-home spread for Thanksgiving this year.

Eight Hong Kong restaurants for Thanksgiving dinner – takeaway or dine in

Are you after a festive feast but don’t feel like cooking? Then let these places do the hard work for you, whether you’re dining in or eating out

For Americans, Thanksgiving is bigger than Christmas – they will go to great lengths to gather their family over a roast turkey with all the trimmings ... before settling down to watch American football on TV.

In the past few years, more restaurants in Hong Kong have started offering Thanksgiving dinners and there are options aplenty. Dine in or takeaway, the choice is yours. Here are three places to put in your order for takeaway, and if you’d rather eat out, five suggestions for where to dine. Just be sure to order or book ahead.

Thanksgiving feasts to go:

Main St. Deli at Langham Hong Kong

Main St. Deli has Thanksgiving ready to take home with its Turkey-to-go Combo. A US Tom turkey (up to 10kg) is packed in a carton box and includes stuffing, gravy, cranberry-orange sauce to feed up to 20 people. The feast also includes pumpkin soup and a choice of dessert from pumpkin cheesecake, pecan pie, cherry pie, and Christmas pudding. The combo for 6-10 people is HK$2,138, for 16-20 people it’s HK$3,588. The offer runs until December 31. Order here.

If you’re only showing gratitude to friends and family this Thanksgiving, you’re forgetting someone important

The bird here is prepared in different ways. The breast meat is doenjang-glazed and roasted, the legs pressure-fried and wings deep-fried. The secret to the tastiness of the meat is the addition of vodka in the batter to enhance the crunch factor. The turkey will be accompanied with potato mash, pickled radish, roasted corn salsa, and Korean slaw. The set menu is HK$595 per guest.
