Explore Hong Kong: ohmykids’ day trips for children are entertaining and informative
Two fun trips in January offer parents the opportunity to get their children out and about in an old city neighbourhood and learning about animals and how to care for them
As well as providing baby products reviews and hosting toy-swap events, online family platform ohmykids (ohmykids.org) is also known for organising entertaining day trips to allow children to learn outside of the classroom.
In January, there will be two chances for parents to get their children out and about. On January 3, children can get to know more about Yau Ma Tei, a culturally rich neighbourhood through games and hands-on activities in the fruit market, Temple Street and jade market.
On January 10, spending a day at Garden of Life (petlifesharing.com.hk/) in Yuen Long provides children a chance to mingle with a variety of animals. It aims at nurturing children’s love and respect for animals through storytelling, mini-games and up-close encounters with the furry friends. A DIY lunch of sushi or hamburger is included.
