Nikolau and a fellow daredevil also filmed themselves climbing their way to the top of the world’s tallest construction site, in Tianjin in the northeast of China – 640m off the ground.

On Instagram, the 23-year-old daredevil says her mantra is: “No limit, no control.”

Rooftopping, as the practice of gaining access to the highest levels of buildings is known, has exploded in popularity among thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies in recent years, leading to deaths in countries such as Russia and the US. And with more skyscrapers than any other city on earth, Hong Kong has become a magnet for rooftoppers, attracting daredevils from all around the world.
