Set in a tranquil corner by the Chinese University, at the Hyatt Regency Sha Tin, Sha Tin 18 offers excellent northern and Dongguan cuisine.
The contemporary-style restaurant is famed for its Peking duck, hand-pulled noodles and dumplings, but there are four show kitchens with delicacies ranging from northern Chinese cuisine, home-style Dongguan fare, Cantonese favourites and desserts. Traditional Chinese desserts are offered but the more innovative options are winners, particularly the Chinese wine chocolate and red date clafoutis with jasmine milk tea ice cream. Wine pairing is available. For privacy, diners have a choice of five private rooms.
