Dine in style at Mott 32, where farm-to-table Chinese dishes are given a modern twist
Restaurant encapsulates East meets West with its food and décor
The industrial warehouse elements and colonial furnishings in Mott 32 are juxtaposed with Chinese items such as a hanging abacus and calligraphy pens in the private rooms; the bar is inspired by a Chinese apothecary.
With a farm-to-table philosophy, must-try menu items include the apple wood roasted 42-day Peking duck, fire-roasted suckling pig and crispy triple-cooked Australian Black Angus short ribs. Contemporary Chinese desserts of deconstructed chestnut and pear tart with sweet Chinese vinegar ice cream and guava mousse cake with oatmeal and Jasmine ice cream are good. The cocktail bar is a great place to start the evening.
