As an Olympic figure skater for Canada, Collin Thompson created his own costumes. Today, he runs urban lifestyle brand Cipherand finds sophistication in simplicity
I grew up in Los Angeles and nowadays it seems people can't recognise me without it.
tank top and button-up shirt. It's easy for me to shop for basics at Zara; I can wear them with luxury items from stores, such as Joyce.
Amazing denim that has a life, feels unique and has a slimmer fit. I usually wear denim by A.P.C., Dior Homme or Uniqlo.
I don't really wear them because I think they're cool; these are my colours, they're comfortable and I work out in them.

A 500-year-old Italian tannery made this leather portfolio case, which he used while studying filmmaking at university.
