LA DODGERS HAT I grew up in Los Angeles and nowadays it seems people can't recognise me without it.

ZARA tank top and button-up shirt. It's easy for me to shop for basics at Zara; I can wear them with luxury items from stores, such as Joyce.

A.P.C. PETIT NEW STANDARD DENIM Amazing denim that has a life, feels unique and has a slimmer fit. I usually wear denim by A.P.C., Dior Homme or Uniqlo.

NIKE AIR MAX 90 PREMIUMS I don't really wear them because I think they're cool; these are my colours, they're comfortable and I work out in them.

At work ...

A 500-year-old Italian tannery made this leather portfolio case, which he used while studying filmmaking at university.

Thompson sports a YSL leather jacket, Dior Homme trousers and Tom Ford cologne.

J.M. Western shoes complete the look.

... and at play

A minimalist Panerai watch, with a Cartier Love bracelet.

Glasses by Martin Leung from Asia Optical, ice skates worn in Thompson's second Canadian National Figure Skating Championships and a tracksuit given to him when he made the national team for the Olympics, along with a Coal Headwear hat designed in Seattle.

Some comfortable Converse.
