"I work independently so most of the time I eat by myself. Occasionally, I get a nice dinner with my high-end clients. Fine dining is best enjoyed with a group of people or friends.
For sashimi and special items from Japan, I head to (1/F Wellington Place, Central, tel: 2971 0180). I love Chinese-style crispy chicken and for that I go to in Causeway Bay (30 Leighton Road, tel: 2881 8687) and at the IFC Mall (shop 3101, 1 Harbour View Street, Central, tel: 2393 3933).
For the past three years, I've been based in Shanghai. My wife took me to this eatery called (417 Loushanguan Lu, Changning Qu, tel: 021 6274 0084), which serves amazing preserved sour vegetables with yellow croaker fish noodles.
The Hong Kong cha chaan teng chain (various branches) is another Shanghai hangout where I can satisfy my craving for satay beef with fried rice noodles, home-made fish balls and sliced fish cakes with vermicelli in fish soup, crispy condensed milk bun and beef stew curry with rice.
