The beautiful Australian model/TV presenter/businesswoman Cara "G" Grogan, has become the most recognisable face in Hong Kong fashion in just a few short years. Of Swiss/Irish and Thai/Chinese/Arabic parentage, she's walked for Dior and Max Mara, appeared in fashion editorials, fronted numerous major campaigns in Asia and hosted TV shows for Channel V and the National Geographic Channel. Among her recent overseas contracts is a sexy music video for Duran Duran, where she romps in lingerie with the likes of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Yasmin Le Bon.

Grogan's success is not just down to her sultry looks but also her warm, outgoing personality. She is less party girl and more earth mother. You'll often find her at her juice detox store The Genie Concept, or at a local beach with her husband photographer/model Jesper McIlroy and their dog. Part supermodel, part animal lover and now - following the announcement of her pregnancy - a glowing mother-to-be, Hong Kong's golden girl has never looked better.

Rocker chic is back with a vengeance, and apart from the classic leather biker jacket, there are plenty of accessories around to style up the look.

Black pony cap (HK$180); black and white cow print knit sweater (HK$300); black and white square grid print trousers (inquiries: 3585 8026) all from Monki. Black leather peplum biker jacket (HK$16,999) by MCQ Alexander McQueen. Black and white leather loafers with tassel detail (HK$1,399) by izzue x Dr Martens. Silver gunmetal double shark magnetic earring (HK$2,490) by Givenchy from On Pedder.

Distressed denim has taken on a whole new twist, paired with luxe textures and a bit of sex appeal. Follow Cara's lead and bare some skin with a cropped tee.

White faux fur coat (HK$5,825) by Anna Sui; siren rose gold-plated necklace (HK$2,680) by Monica Vinader, both from Merci cropped tee (HK$395) by Lovers + Friends from Backroom ( Light denim distressed boyfriend jeans (inquiries: 2147 5077) by Sass & Bide from I.T. Pastels, especially pink and blue are an unexpected trend for the autumn, but done well they can look sublime. As Cara demonstrates, this new femininity comes with a fair amount of attitude. Look for textured knits, and keep jewellery simple.

Baby pink knitted beanie hat with sequin embellishments (HK$99); baby pink PVC plastic full midi skirt (HK$499); sets of four gold band/chain/loop rings (HK$69,90); and chunky gold crocodile skin textured ring (HK$49.90) all by H&M. Baby pink and white bobble textured knitted sweater (inquiries: 2317 5787) by Blumarine. Pink and sliver framed cat-eye sunglasses (HK$3,100) by Karen Walker from On Pedder.

Bold contrasts reign, especially when tough outerwear fabrics are paired with sheers. Heat things up with a glimpse of sexy sheer mesh underneath an on-trend red wool tartan coat.

Throw a wardrobe staple, like the wool textured coat Cara's wearing over bold striped trousers for a more sophisticated take on the monochrome trend. Add a touch of mystery with cat-eye sunglasses.

Black and grey striped trousers (HK$3,300) by Diesel. Thin white leather belt (inquiries: 2147 5077) by N.21 from I.T.

Black and white still makes for style magic this season. Pair statement trousers with playful accessories and work monochrome textural contrasts, like the embossed floral patterns on Cara's sweater.
