WORLD CULTURES FESTIVAL

Eastern Europe is the focus of this multifarious celebration of dance, music, theatre and film. And one of the most hotly anticipated events on the programme is the Eifman Ballet of St Petersburg's interpretation of the Leo Tolstoy novel, Anna Karenina, set to music by Tchaikovsky. THE DREAM OF THE RED CHAMBER

Hong Kong Ballet and Ballet Dortmund's (Germany) collaborative retelling of one of the great Chinese love stories kicks off the Hong Kong Dance Festival later this month.
