PROMENADE restaurant at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Hung Hom is featuring bird's nest dishes on its dinner buffet until the end of the month. Guests can taste halibut jelly terrine with crystal swallow nest; crab meat and crystal swallow nest profiterole; and steamed shrimp and scallop souffle with passion fruit and crystal swallow nest (above). THE VERANDAH restaurant at the Repulse Bay will have an Ali Baba themed night on May 23, with belly dancing and a contest for the best Arabian costume. Chase Kojima from Sokyo restaurant in Sydney will be at SEVVA restaurant in Central until the end of May. Kojima's dishes, available on a three-course set lunch (HK$680 plus 10 per cent) and nine-course set dinner (HK$1,860), include scampi and foie gras with white soy, apple and mizuna; and Japanese A4 wagyu strip loin with king brown mushroom and truffle poke. FICO INTERNATIONAL wine importers will have a tasting of Chateau Musar wines from Lebanon on May 23.
