Style Confessions: Baptiste Guédez

The French expat took a break from his pursuits in the music industry in 2008 to start a career in apparel at Kapok. With an eye for classic items, one of his recent ventures includes co-founding pocket watch company, MMT

AMANDA KHO

Red Kapok hat
This is Kapok's first ever cap, in Japanese cotton canvas.

Mismo backpack
From Denmark — and the best quality backpack I have ever had. I have many items from Mismo.

Grey Sunspel polo
It's a classic and perfect, big Rivieras polo from a British brand. It's so comfy and perfect for Hong Kong's hot and humid weather.

Margaret Howell shorts
One of my favourite brands, too. Simple yet functional, comfortable and timeless.

Ray-Ban Wayfarers
These sunglasses are a gift from my father.

Inspiration in fruit
I like art that is accessible to everyone and depicts something that appears obvious and simple. Fruit is one of the simplest forms of food, yet provides a wide spectrum of flavours and emotions. What's better than a fresh orange or grapefruit in the morning?
