Yu Lei at the Harbourfront Landmark in Hung Hom is serving a 10-course Chinese feast that costs HK$6,000 plus 10 per cent per person. For that price, you get dishes of the chef's signature appetiser platter; braised 33-heads whole Yoshihama abalone with black moss in abalone sauce; wok-fried flounder fillet with snow fungus and deep-fried ankimo (monkfish liver) with flounder fillet in matsutake sauce; rice paper roll with wagyu and foie gras; and steamed fried rice with chestnuts, matsutake and pine nuts. Senzuru Japanese restaurant at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Hung Hom is featuring seasonal Kyushu saury in a promotion that lasts until the end of the month. The menu includes dishes of grilled Kyushu saury with salt; Nanbanzuke-style Kyushu saury (battered, deep-fried then served with sauce); and country-style Kyushu saury— fried then simmered with mushrooms and shredded radish. The Place at Langham Place in Mong Kok is serving Korean and Japanese dishes in lunch and dinner buffets until the end of September.
