Food review: Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant, Tsim Sha Tsui

The South Indian thali (HK$90) was delicious, varied and plentiful and included lentils, cauliflower, rice and light, puffy pooris ( you can choose chapatis). Soft, tender vada (savoury doughnuts, HK$50 for two) were well-seasoned, and came with a trio of small dishes holding sambar, yoghurt and mint chutney, which were also served with steamed, spongy idli (HK$50).

very little by way of decor. A water jug and cups sit on each table, so you can help yourself. Service is friendly and helpful.
