South Korean boy band 2PM will be serenading their legions of Hong Kong devotees on Valentine's Day when they perform at AsiaWorld-Arena as part of their tour to promote their recent album, Go Crazy!

The outfit, consisting of Jun. K, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung, are one of the most popular boy bands in their country and have a global following. The February 14 show will be only their second in Hong Kong; they first performed here in 2012 during the 2PM Hands Up Asia Tour.

Like many K-pop concerts held at AsiaWorld-Arena, the show promises to be an interactive experience, and a spokesman for G Music, the organiser of the Hong Kong event, says audience members will be encouraged to engage with their idols. He adds that fans can expect duets from Jun K. and Wooyoung; Taecyeon and Chansung; and Nichkhun and Junho.

In a Facebook video message, band members, clad in suits and bow ties, sent their best wishes to their local fans. "We're coming to Hong Kong on a special day that should be spent with dear ones … See you on Valentine's Day."

Since making their debut in 2008, 2PM have released four studio albums - The First Album 1:59PM (2009), Hands Up (2011), Grown (2013) and the recent one. Every album has topped the charts in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand. Go Crazy! debuted at No 5 on the local iTunes chart.

The latest single, Guilty Love, rocketed to the top of the Japanese charts a day after its release. The music video features the band in suave James Bond-esque suits and dancing in a futuristic neon-streaked room.

Conceptualised and assembled by one of South Korea's biggest pop-star manufacturers, JYP Entertainment, 2PM began as a larger group called One Day before splitting into two groups - 2PM and 2AM. The former specialises in hip hop and dancey tunes while the latter are known for their ballads.
