Hong Kong design professional Julie Progin's fashion and décor choices

The co-owner of home decor company Latitude 22N and design company Julie & Jesse gathers inspiration from everyday life

My husband, Jesse, created this commissioned piece. He will generally test his paintings in our living room. It's an intermediary stage.

This is a French brand that does a lot of little cute patterns and illustrations. In this case, it's the overemphasised collar with heavy detail that I'm drawn to.

I really love cinched ankle pants, and I've worn these since I was a student. They're extremely comfortable and allow me to move around a lot. They're also easy to dress up or keep casual.

Jesse really loves this brand. I was actually searching for a new pair for him when I came across these pale pink boots on Net-a-Porter.

I picked this up in the Wan Chai market — it was so amusing I had to have it. Living in the city, we all come to hate pigeons, but I like the beauty in the mundane.
