Latest launches are designed to beautify and boost skin quality, writes Tama Lung

 

Winter's latest cosmetic launches are just in time for the festive season, with everything from skin-perfecting serums to limited-edition make-up collaborations.

Shiseido's new Bio-Performance Advanced Super Restoring Cream aims to reshape, refirm and "re-smooth" the face with rose apple leaf extract and hyaluronic acid.

Also on the anti-ageing front, Méthode Jeanne Piaubert's Certitude Absolue Ultra Anti-Wrinkle Serum boasts a number of active ingredients to lighten, even and revitalise skin.

Ipsa's Premier Line tackles common concerns such as pigmentation and uneven texture with cleansers, serums and a unique facial roller.

Guerlain's Met Duo Set - available exclusively at DFS Gallerias, including the new T Galleria at Hysan Place - combines a perfecting primer and illuminating powder designed to conceal imperfections and boost radiance.

Burberry Beauty's Complete Eye Palette, available in six new shades, features a quartet of co-ordinating colours in a sheer buildable finish.

Yves Saint Laurent is offering six new "vintage" shades for its best-selling lip gloss Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres, including coral, fuchsia and violet.

Eight years in the making, Giorgio Armani's Maestro Fusion Makeup is a hi-tech formula of translucent oils and "smart" pigments designed to blend with the wearer's natural skin colour.

Andy Warhol was the inspiration for the latest make-up collection from NARS. Must-have items include an eye shadow palette inspired by the iconic artist's painting, Self Portrait.

The season's other high-profile collaboration comes courtesy of make-up artist Shu Uemura and fashion design Karl Lagerfeld. The collection features a "Mon Shu Girl" icon adorning everything from lipsticks to eyelash curlers.
