DENAUX FARM ROASTED LAMB SHOULDER WITH ROSEMARY-INFUSED OLIVE OIL
Family-style meals involve helping scoop delicious food onto everyone’s plates and enjoying each other’s company. That’s what Blue Butcher in Sheung Wan does well on both counts, with its relaxing atmosphere and hearty dishes. A highlight is the French Denaux farm roasted lamb shoulder (HK$1,680 for three to four people), which is slow-cooked for 24 hours in rosemary-infused olive oil, and then roasted before serving. Presented in a large pan, the meat falls off the bone – and pretty soon, only the bones are left. The only caveat is the limit of three servings per night.
