Possibly Hong Kong's first Brazilian steakhouse, Braza Churrascaria occupies the space where Peruvian Mayta once stood. Since its opening, Braza has been packed every night with diners keen to try the all-you-can-eat Brazilian churrascaria, originating from the cowboys in the south of the country who cook meat on skewers over hot embers.

The restaurant's staff bring around an assortment of charcoal-grilled meats which they cut from skewers. And they will keep coming until you turn your green coaster reading "We am still hungry" over to the red flip side, which indicates you are full. Before tucking into the all-you-can-eat salad buffet with yummy dishes such as black bean stew, seared tuna, fried rice, greens, potato and beetroot salads, we were served starters of home-baked bread, fried bananas and cheese rolls. The skewered meats are deliciously juicy. We tried the charcoal-grilled cuts that included sirloin, lamb, chicken breast and legs.

For dessert, fresh fruit such as pineapple and watermelon is available or, for an extra HK$68, there is a choice of five desserts, of which we tried the coconut mousse, dark rum jelly and coconut tuille served with lime, lemon sorbet and berries. The all-you-can-eat appetisers, buffet bar and meats cost HK$388. A good wine selection is available.
