Hidden in the basement of Jardine House is Morty's Delicatessen, an authentic New York-style deli, boasting a large menu filled with creative sandwiches, poutines and their own bread.

The 45-seater deli offers sandwich and craft beer pairings for the adventurous - ask the staff for recommendations. We tried the Pelican Umbrella with the Reuben (HK$118), a sandwich stuffed with slow-smoked pastrami, Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing and sauerkraut on house rye. The Pelican Umbrella, a craft beer from Portland, Oregon, is slightly bitter yet refreshing, complementing the sourness of the sauerkraut from the Reuben.

Little Creatures PA, a light, hoppy beer, is also recommended.
