TURN-ONS
The main event on the small bar menu was the wagyu options. As this is primarily a drinking establishment, the dishes are there to complement the craft beers. We tried the Aussie wagyu hanger steak which comes with home-made dips and salts such as Okinawa coral, Himalayan pink, Dead Sea lake and fleur de merlot salts. We tried the chimchurri and sherry brown butter dips. It was a good dish, enough for one, and I imagine it sells well after a few drinks. They also offer Aussie wagyu chuck, M4-5 Tajima rib-eye and A4 wagyu rib-eye. The big ass truffle grilled cheese sandwich also went down well. The thick white buttered sandwich is grilled with a choice of gruyère, cheddar or mozzarella with oozes of black truffle. We liked the sweet potato fries with sambal mayo.
TURN-OFFS
The chicken Caesar salad was a disaster - the chicken leg was undercooked and smelt old.
DRINKS
This is a bar known for it’s craft beers. There didn’t seem to be any beer on tap, but the craft beer selection included brews such as gwei-lo, Mo
