WHO TO BRING Family and friends, and good for business lunches.

TURN-ONS The buffet of cold cuts, cheese, antipasti, and grilled vegetables, and salads that include tuna, chicken, shrimp and beans were all a good way to start a healthy meal. The ingredients were fresh andinviting. They were followed by a hearty classic minestrone – Genova-style – with basil pesto, which was delicious. The prawn carpaccio with sautéed vegetables, pea sauce and salmon roe looked like art on a plate. We then went for the Mediterranean sea bass with cream of broad beans and roasted vegetables, which also included asparagus. The skin on the sea bass was deliciously crispy while the fish’s meat was soft and tender and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The desserts were buffet style – we went for the fresh fruit, as we were on a health kick.

TURN-OFFS The dessert choices were limited.

DRINKS There is a good selection of Italian wines.
