So, you want to charter your very own maritime boozing vessel? Here’s how.

The boats: Beautiful teak Chinese junks which carry up to 50 people. Island has a wide variety of charter packages and tours to take advantage of Hong Kong’s waters.
The cost: Junk charters start from $350 per person, with reasonable food and drinks packages available. Thai massage services for $1,800. They also have cruise packages that takes you to various locations including outlying islands starting from $630 per person.

Jubilee

The boats: No-frills vessel charter has a large selection of junks of all kinds and shapes.
The cost: Prices ranging from $2,800 on weekdays to around $4,500 (for 20 people), but prices change month on month. Open bar onboard starts from $68 per person and several Chinese and Western menus cost from $60-$200+ per person.

Vikings Charters

The boats: Pleasure cruisers and traditional Chinese junks.
The cost: The weekday package ($5,200) includes boat hire and two hours speed boat with banana boat, water ski and wakeboard equipment. Weekend boat rentals start at $4,500.

The boats: Laissez Faire is all about the sea route less traveled, on its selection of cruisers. It aims to visit the more secluded corners of Hong Kong’s crystalline bays.
The cost: Prices start at $6000, trips start at the end of May (weekends only). Buffet menus cost $100-$200 per person with a $100 delivery surcharge.

Hong Kong Junks

The boats: A fleet of three classic teak junks.
The cost: Boat-only rates for the high season of April to November start from $200 per person, while all-inclusive packages start at $450 per person. Extras include face painting ($2,750) and watersports (from $1,000).

Saffron Cruises

The boats: Saffron Cruises has six junks—as well as the Bounty, a replica of the 18th-century sailing ship, and a wide yachts, boats, cruisers and ferries that can carry up to 150 people.
The cost: Prices ranging from $7,500 to $80,000 depending on the vessel. Saffron offers catering services with a buffet menu priced at $340-$420 per person.

Nextwave Charters

The boats: A wide range of vessels, from 30-person Chinese junks to full-blown luxury cruisers and power yachts.
The cost: Junk trips start at $8,500, all the way up to $65,000 for a 76-foot Monte Carto luxury superyacht (takes up to 40 people). Currently, Nextwave is offering a summer weekend junk special for a $7,000 flat rate. Simple luxury boat cruise not enough for you? No worries. Nextwave has teamed up with Heliservices HK to create a full-on air, land and sea package. You're taken on a sightseeing tour of Hong Kong by helicopter from the Peninsula Hotel to Wan Chai heliport—at which point you're driven by private transfer to Causeway Bay pier, where you're picked up in a luxury yacht (complete with champagne) for a three-hour cruise through the city. Prices for all of that start at a very affordable-seeming $22,000.

Jaspas Junks

The boats: The city’s best known party junks, with plentiful food and booze and an almighty sound system. Six junks come fully stocked with food, a chef and servers.
The cost: Each junk carries up to 40 passengers at $700 per head for all-you-can-eat-and-drink—including floating sea breeze cocktails. Pickup from Central or Sai Kung.

Hong Kong Yachting

The boats: Established in 2006, Australian-owned and run HK Yachting specializes in unusual craft—from ocean-going racing yachts to floating party pads.
The cost: Hong Kong Yachting It has the usual junks and cruisers (from $8,500), but it also specializes in one-of-a-kind charters: the newest is the Tarzan, a former Aussie dive boat that’s been refurbished and upgraded into a party venue able to host up to 55. Day charters are $27,000, night charters from $24,000, food and drinks from $370 per head. Can’t find enough people to all chip in? They also hold events where you can buy an individual ticket.

The boats: The Thai restaurant chain’s junks serve up quality Thai food on the high seas.  
The cost: The weekday package is $499 per person with free-flow drinks and full onsite catering; a “Sunday Funday” deal is $580 per person. The deal also gets you unlimited watersports, games and on deck massages.

The boat: A fully equipped luxury 48-foot motor yacht for up to 23 passengers, available with a multitude of packages.
The cost: An all-inclusive day package includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and free-flow soft drinks and wine, from $14,850 for 15 people ($880 for additional people). The package also includes an inflatable pool, tanning bed and kayak. Night junks are also available (from $13,200)—as is a romantic dinner for two, with a four-course menu for $4,900.

The boats: Catering company Delicious also offers junks to charter: Its three cruisers take up to 45 people.
The cost: A weekday all-inclusive cruise is $500 per head (minimum 20 people), and $650 on weekends (minimum 25 people).

The boat: This gorgeous 80-foot cruiser has been crafted from tropical hardwoods, brass and copper. Its beautiful 4,000 square feet will accommodate up to 59.
The cost: Charters start at $24,000, while menus range from $420-$970. Overnight charters available for up to nine.

Riviera Orientale

The boats: Sometimes you’ve just got to go all out. Riviera Orientale is all about extravagant cruising, with brand-new yachts manned with internationally trained crews. All of their luxury cruisers are less than three years old, and their new Numarine 105XL superyacht has a capacity of 45 and arrives in Hong Kong in August.
The cost: Charter rates start at $25,000 per day for a Sunseeker 40 luxury yacht—although the new Numarine 105 will set you back $125,000 per day. Charter it overnight and go exploring the city’s beautiful shorelines and deserted islands.
