The concert, “The Beauty of WE,” will take place on Po Hing Fong and Tai Ping Shan Street in Sheung Wan on June 19 at 3:30pm, the same date as the original event which was cancelled by the cosmetics brand. Open to all for free, the concert has been organized by Ho alongside eight business owners in the neighborhood, including Teakha, Just Coffee&Wine Hipster, 3rd Space and Inbetween Shop.
According to a statement released by the singer earlier today, the concert aims to “create a happy and safe neighborhood event,” mocking the statement released by Lancôme on June 5 claiming that the original event’s aim “is to create a happy and relaxing neighborhood event” but it was cancelled due to “possible safety reasons.”
