1  Skin show Nomad chic is the look Hermès is going for this autumn-winter. Designer Christophe Lemaire layered up runway models in traditional animal skins such as this buckwheat goatskin waistcoat (right; HK$37,200). There was also plenty of gaucho swagger evident in this large doublebreasted coat in dark green cashmere (left; HK$53,500). Hermès is in Elements, 1 Austin Road West, Kowloon, tel: 2196 8028.

2  Strokes of luck De Beers’ Talisman collection is the answer for anyone looking for statement jewellery as well as a little luck. The jeweller has crafted a medallion, available in rose gold (left) and yellow gold (both HK$195,000), featuring rough white diamonds arranged in circles to symbolise strength. Complete the look with a pair of earrings (right in yellow gold; HK$86,000) and a cuff (HK$90,500). De Beers is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2118 2321.

3  Happy days Lanvin devotees will no doubt be delighted with the release of the capsule Happy collection, which celebrates 10 years of Alber Elbaz at the French fashion house. The 30-piece collection includes playfully designed shoes, jewellery and accessories. Highlights include the Les Dessins D’Alber satin purse, embroidered with one of the designer’s signature faces and with feathers on the handle (right; HK$20,500), and the Bijou bag (left; HK$36,700), decorated in diamanté, sequins and a brass floral motif. Lanvin is in Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2523 9512.

4  Raoul call Singapore-based label Raoul takes two of our favourite trends – prints and colour blocking – and combines them in a long-sleeved dress (left; HK$4,390). Designed by husband-and-wife team Douglas and Odile Benjamin, the label made its debut with men’s shirts before expanding into a full range of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear lines. We’re also quite partial to the scoop-neck dress with circle design in both white and black (centre and right; HK$2,690 each). Raoul is available at Rue Madame, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7880.
