I’m desperately looking for sticker bras, no padding, just big stickers to wear with a backless dress. They’re for a bigger-sized woman and are similar to nipple stickers but they cover the entire breast (I’ve tried backless bras). I bought them in the States years ago. Please help!
So Busted, Mid-Levels The Dictator rules: Is this a prank? Not only did you have me traipsing all over town for these things, but unpadded adhesive bras also terrify me. One might slip in humid conditions or, horror, fall off and stick to your date’s shoe. Proponents will counter that they have super strong skin adherence. To that, I say: ew. Some brands provide more instructions for removal (slowly, with alcohol) than application. That’s another thing; applying them incorrectly can result in a botched-boob-job look. Let’s say you get through all of that and make it to sexy time. It’s not like you can run to the loo and rip them off the way you do with your Spanx. In Hong Kong, there’s Hollywood Tape Bra from Japan (HK$118 for four; City’super, Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2506 2888), not to be confused with Hollywood Fashion Tapes from the United States. And there’s more online, such as the Braza Reveal Bra (HK$160 for 10;
www.asos.com) and Bra Stick Push Up Adhesives (HK$93 for six;
www.brastick.com). Fine. Try them, but start with private practice and photographs to assess your work even if you’ve used them before.
I was clearing out my bathroom cabinet and found an old anti-ageing shampoo sample I got ages ago, but can’t remember where. It was brilliant and now I want more! Any idea where I can get Alterna Caviar in Hong Kong?

The Dictator: Before you try to stop time, you should stop using old cosmetics. They do expire, you know, even if most packages don’t have sell-by dates. Use 12 months as a general rule. When it comes to hair care, “anti-ageing” could address many issues, such as brittleness, dullness, thickness or colour loss. Alterna’s wonderful, sulfateand paraben-free Caviar Anti- Ageing shampoo (HK$360; Beyond Beauty, Beauty Bazaar, The One, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 3906 2388) uses caviar extract, marine botanicals and vitamin C to hydrate and revitalise hair while protecting any grey-covering dye you may have. You’ll find the full Caviar range there, including the excellent conditioner (HK$412). Also try: Schwarzkopf’s BC Time Restore range, which promotes keratin production (HK$160 and up; Professional Hair Products, 49A Wellington Street, Central, tel: 2536 0603) and Frederic Fekkai’s Ageless Rejuvenating Shampoo and Restructuring Conditioner (HK$400 each; Joyce Beauty, Lab Concept, Queensway, Admiralty, tel: 2118 2093).
