New on the block: Maje

Le French Maje The Gallic invasion continues.

Described as the younger and trendier sister label to chic Sandro, high-street brand Maje attracts fashionistas, such as Gaile Lai Kei-yi, looking for an easy yet feminine wardrobe. The new IFC Mall boutique is quintessentially Parisian, with mouldings, wood floors and cornices inspired by French planner Georges Eugene Haussmann. Playful touches can be seen on the pink walls, denim seats and curtains, panther-print carpet and bulb-framed mirrors.

Designed by founder Judith Milgrom, the autumn-winter collection mixes femininity with a rock-chick vibe. Highlights include girly dresses with biker boots, original jacquard prints accented with leather details and voluminous separates featuring contrasting fabrics.
