Dear John Lacoste is infinitely better at making leather bags for men than coming up with names for its collections. The John collection includes this rather fetching blue leather tote (above left; HK$2,280) and this practical yet stylish black leather computer bag (above right; HK$2,380). Lacoste is in iSquare, 63 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2723 1789.

In the news Galliano's iconic newspaper print design has been given a new, colourful twist for spring-summer. Check out the printed T-shirt collection, the picks of which are the white round neck (above left; HK$1,350) and the grey V-neck (above right; HK$1,200). Galliano is in Gateway Arcade, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel : 2992 0211.

No Spain no gain Business may not be booming in its home country of Spain but Massimo Dutti is going great guns in this part of the world. It appears men in Asia are quite taken with the brand's razor-sharp tailoring and even more attractive pricing. We recommend this very European jetset look of weekender bag (HK$4,900), cotton blazer (HK$1,490), slim-fit, red-striped shirt (HK$550), tie (HK$589), leather belt (HK$490) and slim-fit cotton twill trousers (HK$690). We also love this casual look of reversible jacket (HK$1,490), white T-shirt (HK$250), high-neck jumper (HK$690), leather belt (HK$490), slim-fit chinos (HK$690) and suede moccasins (HK$1,490). Massimo Dutti is in Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2506 0050.

No mean feet The folks at Rockport appear to have all the bases covered when it comes to comfort and design, and they are mixing things up in all the right ways with classic designs in on-trend colours, as seen on the suede Ledge Hill shoe (above right; HK$1,299), with blue adiPRENE soles. We're also quite taken with the Eastern Standard tan-brown leather shoe (above left; HK$1,399) with white adiPRENE soles. Rockport is at 20 Wellington Street, Central, tel: 2869 5215.
