Hello sailor Yacht spotters (if there are such people) will have noticed Le Grand Bleu, the world's biggest private yacht, anchored in Hong Kong recently. A sail on the boat, which is owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, might be out of the question for many of us, but at least we can console ourselves with the right gear, by way of Paul & Shark. We love the brand's bright orange holdall (top; HK$8,690) while the blue messenger bag (above; HK$7,190) makes a nice nautical statement. Paul & Shark is in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2110 4362.

Bright sparks If you still don't feel it's warm enough to leave home without a jumper, just make sure it's a light and thin one, such as these American Eagle striped crew neck numbers (above; HK$490 each). The jumpers come in various shades and all sport a luminous crest. American Eagle is in Harbour City, tel: 2730 6939.

Cover boys With the summer months approaching, many men out there must be dreading the thought of exposing their pasty, untoned legs to the cruel barbs of friends and loved ones. If you're one of those keen to hide your "chicken legs" then look no further than a pair of light trousers, such as these Iter Hominis superlight skinny fit chinos (above right; HK$3,400). If you're in the market for something a bit more refined we also recommend these tailored grey trousers (above left; HK$2,600) with nice ankle adjustment detail. Iter Hominis is at 242 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan, tel: 2858 2003.

Going strong Hong Kong's devoted Armani followers will be thrilled to learn that there's a big, shiny new store in Tsim Sha Tsui that pays homage to the house that keeps getting it right. Now aged 78, Giorgio Armani shows no signs of slowing down and his spring-summer men's mainline collection once again shows all the young pretenders how it's done. We love this ready for summer look of navy blue linen and silk blazer (HK$24,000) with matching trousers (HK$10,000), navy blue shirt in light melange linen (HK$5,700) and canvas and calfskin shoes (all above right; HK$6,900). We're also big fans of this more hip look of black and white tiny print blazer (HK$18,000), blue lightweight cotton Bermuda shorts (HK$5,800), beige cotton/silk waistcoat (HK$6,200) and shiny black leather shoes (all above left; HK$5,900). Giorgio Armani is in Chater House, Central, tel: 2532 7700.
