Pain barrier Tom Ford might be hailed in men's fashion circles for taking things back to basics but in the women's arena he's constantly breaking new ground. His latest spring-summer collection is inspired by dungeon-wear and features shoes to die for: the Bondage Spike sandal (left; HK$37,300) has gold-plated thorn-like details and comes in a number of exotic skins (python and lamb among them). The Bondage Straps thigh-high boot in gold (far left; HK$32,000) resembles something out of a 70s sci-fi movie, with gold-plated brass straps that snake seductively up the leg.
