Bright direction Cole Haan broke free of parent company Nike late last year but clearly walked away with some of the latter's intellectual property and colour inspirations. The Lunargrand Saddle (above right; HK$2,600) - made with Nike Lunarlon technology in an eye-catching colour combination - marries Cole Haan's heritage styles with a distinctly sporty essence. Waist land Roberto Cavalli is the man responsible for the sand-blasted jeans look, which might make us wince today, but let's not forget how trend-setting and "cool" it was in the 1990s. Cavalli's still innovating and through his Just Cavalli diffusion line he's put out some interesting accessories. Waiting for Goyard French bag and luggage maker Goyard is one of the few luxury brands that has not gone fully mainstream - but that's probably only a matter of time, so we recommend you grab a piece of it while it's still sort of rare.
