Rocking Valentino High fashion is glad for the youthful rock glamour that creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have injected into the house of Valentino. Having spearheaded its accessories collections, the pair were hand picked to helm the brand by the Last Emperor himself, Valentino Garavani. Piccioli and Chiuri have modernised Valentino elegance with items such as this pink Valentino Garavani leopard rockstud shoulder bag (above left; HK$19,400) and the stunning, furry black and white mink clutch (above right; HK$45,500). Valentino is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2523 8035.
Natural wonders Statement necklaces, chunky cuffs, beautiful stones and ethical leanings - Niin, one of our favourite local jewellers, has them all. Founder Jeanine Hsu has tapped Hong Kong celebri-model Rosemary Vandenbroucke for her latest campaign and the result is rather wonderful. The polished agate cuffs (right; HK$2,800 each), pendant (left; HK$3,000) and earrings (above; HK$1,800) make for great spring pieces. The natural shapes mean each piece is unique. Niin is available at www.niinstyle.com and by appointment at the showroom: 3/F, Yu Yuet Lai Building, 43 Wyndham Street, Central, tel: 2878 8811.

A rosy picture We love the dark, sensual 3D floral prints from Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy this season. The man knows a thing or two about creating iconic items while keeping things edgy. You can't go wrong with the rose scarf (above right; HK$1,790), or the darker, more varied bouquet version (above left; HK$2,090). Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy is available at Lane Crawford, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2118 3388.
