What could be sweeter than a night in, pampering yourself with the best of nature's bounty: honey.
1. Crabtree & Evelyn's English Honey and Peach Blossom Collection (from HK$65 to HK$275) features eight products, from body wash and moisturising cream to all-purpose balm, all of which hydrate and condition skin with the help of "hero" ingredients wild flower honey and peach blossom extracts. Yeast extract from blue agave leaf boosts the face serum's moisturising capabilities while the hand therapy cream is infused with macadamia nut oil and myrrh to soften and care for the cuticles and nails. The soothing lip balm contains a blend of olive fruit and sunflower seed oils.
2. Fresh's Crème Ancienne Ultimate Nourishing Honey Mask (HK$1,350/100ml) has a pure honey content of 38 per cent. The producers spent four years searching for the perfect honey before settling on that from the Buckfast bee, in the Loire Valley, France. Honey lends its restorative and moisturising powers to the mask, which is also said to improve skin elasticity and complexion with detoxifying echinacea extract, nourishing meadowfoam seed oil and omega- and antioxidants-rich Seabuckthorn oil.
3. Guerlain's Abeille Royale 1-Month Youth Treatment (HK$1,950/40ml) uses royal jelly from hives the brand farms in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin in Sologne, France. To control dosage and quality, royal jelly concentrate is encapsulated into beads of "golden caviar". When blended with the nourishing activating cream, they unleash properties to protect and repair lines and tired or dull skin. To be used everyday for a month.
4. Orlane's Elixir Royal (HK$5,980/30ml) is said to restore youthfulness to skin with the help of royal jelly, 24-carat gold and spot-reducing Stargazer lily. While the queen bee's food helps to heal, hydrate and nourish skin, antioxidant 24-carat gold has strengthening and protection qualities. Also in the collection are Crème Royale, Crème Royale for Eyes and Crème Royale for Neck and Décolleté.
