Must-have summer gear from Givenchy, Prada, ATP Atelier

Daniel Kong

Miuccia Prada will help you up your game when it comes to grandma-inspired outfits this season. Plaid patterns have been printed on beautifully smooth Saffiano leather, and the bags' clean silhouettes bring them up to date for the modern era. Our picks include the Saffiano Militaire shoulder bag (above left; HK$19,200), Saffiano Cammello top handle bag (top left; HK$16,200) and the Tessuto and Saffiano mini satchel (above right; HK$13,250). Prada is in The Landmark, Central.

High visibility gear For his pre-autumn collection, Riccardo Tisci brought a sharp, high-octane list of design ingredients, including ivory detailing, neoprene bands and pearl collars, into the fore. As a result, the Givenchy girl is sporting an eye-catching look that celebrates femininity. We love the baby's breath military coat (HK$26,900) and black cross-printed cady trousers (HK$5,490; both above centre), the black stretch wool crepe dress with white satin band (above right; HK$15,800) and the multicoloured optical printed cady corset jacket (above left; HK$48,800). Givenchy is in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Flat footed There is no greater marriage than sleek Scandinavian design with Italian craftsmanship. ATP Atelier's stylish footwear collection is just that. And these glamorous bad boys make ditching the stilettos an easy step. Our top picks include the Karin model in black leather (above right; HK$1,350) and the open-toe Rosa model (above left; HK$1,950). ATP Atelier is available at Squarestreet, 15 Square Street, Sheung Wan.
