Pill popping: Damien Hirst’s Cathedral Collection for jewellery label Hoorsenbuhs

Who started it? California-based jewellery label Hoorsenbuhs was launched in 2005 by fashion photographer Robert Keith. The label, which offers irreverent rock ’n’ roll trinkets for men and women, takes its name from a 16th-century Dutch trading ship sailed by Keith’s ancestors.

Why we love it: a collaboration in 2013 with rapper Jay Z for Barneys New York’s holiday collection is where things kicked off for the label, says former model Kether Parker, who is Hoorsenbuhs’ brand ambassador and worked with the rapper on the now famous 18-carat Double Barrel ring. Last year the label collaborated with British artist Damien Hirst on the Cathedral Collection: a decadent and attention-seeking line that features medical symbology and religious motifs.

What we’d pick: the Pill Ring (above; HK$310,000) and the Pill Rosary necklace (right; HK$780,000) are both available in yellow, rose and white gold with white and black diamonds and rubies. Each design is limited to 25 pieces.

Where can you get it? Hoorsenbuhs is available at Plukka in The Landmark, Central.
