What's the story? London-based casualwear brand Être Cécile was started by fashion veterans Yasmin Sewell, Jemma Dyas and Kyle Robinson. The label takes inspiration from Cécile, an Irish-born artist who lived in 1960s Paris and had a flair for fashion as well as a weakness for animal prints.

Why we love it: embodying a distinctly Parisian flavour, the label has a certain je ne sais quoi as well as plenty of humour, with light-hearted sweatshirts and tees featuring playful slogans and bold graphics.

What we'd pick: make a tongue-in-cheek statement with the "Suckas" light pink jumper (above left; HK$1,500). The "C" varsity appliqué sweatshirt (above centre; also HK$1,500) is effortlessly cool but, if you're looking for something brighter, go for the red jumper with blue hearts (above right; HK$1,750).

Where can you get it? Être Cécile is available at Lane Crawford, IFC Mall, Central.
